Euro 2016

Euro has always been a special tournament to me. Aside from the World Cup, it’s one of my favourites for several reasons. Above all, it’s special because it seems as though ANYTHING can happen; on any given day, any team can win. This is always true of soccer, but it seems especially true in Euro for reasons that are a mystery to me.

Summer Good

September has arrived, and as summer fades into fall I’ve been reminiscing about some of my favourite moments this summer. In staff meeting at work, we were asked to share our favourite 45 minutes of the summer and I found this task to be really hard, because there were a lot of really great moments. This was a great exercise for me, because in the business of life you can forget all the blessings that you’ve been given.

Keep It Simple Stupid

In the wise words of my old soccer coach: keep it simple stupid (K.I.S.S.). Life often feels so complicated doesn’t it? Sometimes I think that living in the city amplifies that feeling, which is why I am a firm believer that there are times when you just have to GET OUT. Last Saturday, for my friend’s birthday, a group of my girlfriends and I hopped into a car and drove out to Abbotsford for the day.
